Hockey Pucks on a Stick

Need a cute treat for the end of the season hockey party or tournament? Here is a super easy idea to make edible hockey pucks on a stick with Ding Dongs. Each child has their jersey number included with a personalized photo tag attached.

To see how to create them, visit my previous post Ding Dong on a Stick when I sent them to school for a birthday celebration.

As for the photo tag, I created it in Picnik by covering an existing photo with a white background. To do this, select the “edit” tab, then the “sticker” tab, then select the “Geometric” category. Pick the rectangle to cover the entire image to have a fresh palate to start with. Make sure to change the color to white.

Now, select the rectangle with rounded corners and place it on the white background. Change it to the desired color. Altar the size to your liking. Copy it and place the second tag next to it so two tags fit on one picture.

From there, add the text and picture placing them where desired. This is how my finished tag looks.

Print on photo paper.

Using the original tags, change the name and number to complete the next two players. Print. Repeat for the rest of the team, getting two tags per photo.

Cut around the tag image and punch a hole in the top. Package in a cello bag secured with a tag and matching ribbon. Let me know if you make them!
