Hunting Widow Series|Day 7|Game Night

How does your hunter spend the evening at deer camp? Visiting other deer camps? Gathered around a table playing cards and enjoying the camaraderie with fellow hunters? Why should they have all the fun? With the weekend right around the corner, plan an improptu Game Night at your house. It doesn’t have to be big or elaborate to be fun. A couple of kids, a game or two, a few snacks and you as game moderator.

If there are a few kids, it’s probably a good idea to establish some rules. Here’s some suggestions:

Game Night Rules
√ Have Fun
√ Eat lots of food
√ Good Sportsmanship
√ Know Game Rules before you begin
√ Bedtime extended

Spend today having the kids help start planning it, call up some friends, pick the games, and get snacks.

Of course, you always could spice it up a bit with festive snacks like these Chocolate Domino Cookies, UNO Dip, JENGA Cheese Tower, or these beverage wrappers simply printed on the computer. If you have time, the possibilites are endless.

Kids just love Game Night, it keeps them away from electronics and TV and the night will fly by. You won’t even remember that you are a hunting widow. Mission accomplished!
