When I heard I was selected into the exclusive LocknLock Supporter program I did consecutive cartwheels down the hallway in delight. Well, not really - I wanted to but that image was all in my head because let’s be serious, when I tried to show my boys how easy it was to do a cartwheel (I did a million in my childhood) I was really shocked that mama couldn’t make a perfect cartwheel anymore. Mama couldn’t even get around with some height. Much of a shock as one of my childhood dreams was to be a gymnast.

Why did I want to become a LocknLock Supporter since I am a Childhood Inspiration blog?
I am not a review blogger but I will, from time to time, review products that I am passionate about. I want readers to come to my site to be inspired with ways to enhance their children’s lives. So why LocknLock?
The story is that I was looking for better snack containers for my KID’S snacks. I want to be green and use baggies only when absolutely necessary (we try to reuse those too). I’ve used a lot of products that didn’t hold up to the kid endurance test and I was heartbroken when my school age kids came home explaining their embarrassing moments of snack container tops that were too tight causing their container of fishies to fly through the room and containers that accidentally opened up dumping the contents in their backpack.
I stumbled on a container at my local Meijer grocery store and bought two hoping they could be great containers. After a week of use, I realized we finally hit the snack container jackpot. It made my kids never have to worry about those embarrassing moments again. So, back to the store I went to purchase more. They had none left! I waited and searched other stores and couldn’t find them. Someone told me to check out their website. Wow, I didn’t know the scope of products they sold. I ordered a bunch more snack containers off their site and signed up for email notifications. I added this product to my blog list of ideas to share. I knew that if it worked for my family because we already lived and learned the hard way then I may be able to help other families and save your kids some embarrassing moments. Since I’m not made of money, I couldn’t purchase one of every item on their website to try. I knew that this program was the best option to try out products new to me, I already knew their snack containers were awesome and helped my kids. So now I get to explain my experience so you can decide before you buy. That’s why I want to be a LocknLock Supporter to help other families.
