My kids are finding out that alot of planning goes into building a business & product even if it is as simple as lemonade!
At .50 per lemon plus the cost of cups & sugar, my kiddos are figuring out that if they charge $1.00 per cup that they will barely be making much profit per 12 oz cup. In order to keep their high quality tasting recipe avilable for their customers, they decided to reduce the size of their cup instead of raising the cost. They figure their customers will understand how much money real lemons cost and how much labor goes into creating their recipe.
They considered changing their recipe to an easy lemonade mix but considering their location, clientele and marketing plan, they decided to stick with real lemons rather than compromise their product!
